Palliative Care Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Palliative Care Support Worker to join our Hospice at Home team in Bournemouth and Christchurch. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality end-of-life care to patients in their own homes, working closely with our experienced nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities- Provide holistic nursing care to patients in their own homes, respecting their backgrounds and beliefs.
- Assist in carrying a caseload under the supervision of senior nurses, tasks according to specialist nursing need/assessment at end-of-life.
- Prepare patient environments for care at home, maintaining dignity and privacy, and ensuring a safe working environment.
- A minimum of 1 year's experience as a Health Care Support Worker in End of Life Care within a hospital or community setting.
- Current UK driving license and ability to work independently.
- Completion of a competency-based Care certificate, including workbook equivalent to level 3 or equivalent.
