Cambridge Department of Pathology Research Fellow

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated PhD student to join our research group in the Department of Pathology at the University of Cambridge.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a project investigating the role of long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) in Zika virus-induced neuropathogenesis. This project involves conducting experiments to investigate the impact of lncRNA expression on viral replication, neuronal function, and overall brain health.
As a member of our research group, you will be responsible for conducting experiments, analysing data, and presenting your findings in a clear and concise manner. You will also have the opportunity to participate in workshops, seminars, and other research-related activities.
The studentship will cover the student's stipend and University Fees for four years. Students eligible for UK Home fees are encouraged to apply.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in molecular biology, genetics, or a related field, and excellent communication and teamwork skills. If you are passionate about research and want to make a meaningful contribution to the scientific community, we encourage you to apply.
