This role presents a unique opportunity for an ambitious veterinary professional to pursue a postgraduate qualification in clinical pathology at the University of Cambridge.

The training program, approved by the European College of Veterinary Clinical Pathology, offers comprehensive training in all aspects of clinical pathology, including laboratory management and quality control, haematology, biochemistry, and cytology.

Key Responsibilities
  • To receive comprehensive training in clinical pathology and contribute to the teaching of undergraduate veterinary students.
  • To undertake a research project and participate in laboratory management and quality control activities.

Applicants must be members of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons or hold a veterinary degree qualifying them for membership.

A minimum of two years' experience in general practice or twelve months' experience in a rotating internship is also required.

The successful candidate will receive a salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on their level of experience.

The scholarship is renewable for up to three years subject to satisfactory progress. The estimated salary for this role is approximately £28,500 per annum, based on national averages.
