CAMHS Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CAMHS Practitioner to join our team at the Single Point of Access (SPA) in SET CAMHS. The successful candidate will be responsible for triaging new referrals, responding to referrals via telephone calls, and consulting with other professionals and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality clinical interventions to children, young people, and families in the community.
- Work collaboratively with the SET CAMHS locality teams to respond earlier to children and young people's needs.
- Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with the SPA, wider social, health, and voluntary services.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based interventions and care pathways.
- Successful completion of a graduate training in nursing, social work, or occupational therapy, or equivalent substantial CAMHS clinical experience.
- Eligibility for registration as a full member of the appropriate professional body (HCPC, NMC).
- Experience of working with children and adolescents with co-morbid difficulties and special needs.
- Experience of working therapeutically with parents/carers/families of children and young people with complex mental health problems.
