Position: Residential Deputy Manager

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Residential Deputy Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in creating a nurturing and supportive environment for the young people in our care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that the Statement of Purpose accurately reflects the needs of each individual child.
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies and systems to foster open dialogue and collaboration.
  • Oversee and enhance the quality of services provided to young people, ensuring their well-being and development.
  • Identify training needs for staff members and create opportunities for professional growth and development.
  • Adhere to all Health and Safety Regulations to maintain a safe and secure environment.
  • Conduct regular inspections of building conditions and equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
  • Manage financial budgets and administrative tasks effectively.
  • Promote Equality and Diversity policies throughout the organization, creating an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere for all.
Requirements
  • A deep understanding of the challenges faced by young people in care.
  • Relevant qualifications in Health & Social Care.
  • Excellent communication and active listening skills.
  • A willingness to learn and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
  • Experience working with Emotional Behavioural Disorder or Youth Work.
