Position: Residential Deputy Manager
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Residential Deputy Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in creating a nurturing and supportive environment for the young people in our care.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure that the Statement of Purpose accurately reflects the needs of each individual child.
- Develop and implement effective communication strategies and systems to foster open dialogue and collaboration.
- Oversee and enhance the quality of services provided to young people, ensuring their well-being and development.
- Identify training needs for staff members and create opportunities for professional growth and development.
- Adhere to all Health and Safety Regulations to maintain a safe and secure environment.
- Conduct regular inspections of building conditions and equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
- Manage financial budgets and administrative tasks effectively.
- Promote Equality and Diversity policies throughout the organization, creating an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere for all.
- A deep understanding of the challenges faced by young people in care.
- Relevant qualifications in Health & Social Care.
- Excellent communication and active listening skills.
- A willingness to learn and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
- Experience working with Emotional Behavioural Disorder or Youth Work.
