Are you looking for a career in recruitment? Kate O'Neill Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our Academy, where we believe in nurturing talent and providing people with the support needed to grow and succeed in this industry.

We are looking for someone with the right attitude and transferable skills to join our team. As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you will be given 1-2-1 support and guidance in getting your first job as a recruitment consultant. We will take the time to understand what you are looking for and make sure you are given the best chance possible with your applications and interviews.

Once we match you with the right agency, we will put you through the relevant training courses so you can develop your skills and knowledge in recruitment in a safe and supportive environment. We want to make sure you can settle into your new role as soon as possible, with the best chance possible for success.

As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible for:

  • Speaking on the phone to people looking for jobs, building relationships with them and figuring out what makes those people brilliant.
  • Talking to your clients about those people and why they are so great.
  • Speaking to clients you don't work with yet, on the phone and/or in virtual and face-to-face meetings, to understand what they are looking for and to build new relationships.
  • When a client gives you a vacancy to work on, finding the right person for it.
  • Using social media platforms to build a personal brand for yourself, helping people understand who you are and what you do.
  • Using the agency's database to store and log important information from your conversations with clients and job seekers.
  • Helping job seekers prepare for any interviews they have.
  • Helping your colleagues with their clients job vacancies, finding the right job seeker for them based on what the client is looking for.
