About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Underwriter to join our team at Citynet Underwriting Services. As an Underwriter, you will be responsible for assessing and managing risk for our clients, ensuring that our insurance products meet their needs and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and manage risk for clients, including evaluating policy applications and making informed decisions about coverage and premiums.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service and to identify new business opportunities.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and changes in regulations to ensure that our products and services remain competitive and compliant.
  • Collaborate with other teams, including underwriting, claims, and sales, to ensure seamless delivery of our products and services.
  • Contribute to the development of new products and services, including identifying market opportunities and developing business cases.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years experience in underwriting, preferably in the London market.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and services, including property and liability.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex data and make informed decisions.
