Service Coordinator

Arborvitae Care Services is seeking a dedicated and passionate Service Manager to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the needs of our young people are met through effective assessment and care planning.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the business in working with local authorities to place children in our residential homes or 28-day respite care.
- Liaise with local authorities and social workers to assess the suitability of referrals.
- Monitor the day-to-day running of our crisis provisions and ensure that provision monitoring documents are completed weekly.
- Ensure that our young people are offered opportunities to complete activities they may never have had the chance to do before.
- Ensure staff supervisions are completed on a regular basis along with annual appraisals.
- Attend professionals meetings such as CLA Reviews, PEP meetings, EHCP reviews, TAC meetings, and placement planning.
- Diploma Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent.
- Experience in a supervisory role within a Care/Support setting.
- Knowledge and understanding of issues relating to children and young people with emotional and challenging behaviors.
- Enhanced DBS - On the update system for immediate start.
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence - Essential.
