Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Defence Technology Specialist to join our team. This role will involve developing and maintaining the integration, test, and analysis support infrastructure for the Naval Ships Combat Systems Maritime Integration & Support Centre.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining the existing toolset deployed across the integration labs
  • Developing future tools and maintaining the toolset roadmap
  • Performing post-event data analysis of recorded combat system data
  • Organising toolset training

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Windows and Linux platforms in Object Oriented Programming Languages and Database Query Languages
  • Implement systems engineering lifecycle processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technology, engineering, science, or IT-related field, or equivalent experience
  • Chartered Engineer status or equivalent professional registration with a relevant institution
