Mars, a global leader in the pet nutrition industry, is seeking a highly skilled Digital Transformation Specialist to lead the development of a comprehensive strategy and resource model for factory technology. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that our factory technology is resilient, secure, compliant, and efficient.

Salary: £80,000 - £100,000 per annum

Job Description:

The Digital Transformation Specialist will be responsible for assessing the current status of factory technology, identifying areas for improvement, and developing a roadmap for implementation. This will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to determine the existing workstreams around factory digital technologies and forming a cohesive map of dependencies and overlaps.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment of current factory technology status, including technology ownership & support, requirements for POI assessment, and factory DT fundamental network connectivity
  • Determination of existing workstreams around factory digital technologies and creation of a cohesive map of dependencies and overlaps
  • Development of a comprehensive strategy and resource model for factory technology
  • Implementation of recommendations, including financial and operating model impacts

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficient in manufacturing processes and systems management
  • Strong experience working in CPG/Services Industry with global scope
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, supply chain, engineering, or relevant technical discipline
  • Working experience in IT, Strategy, Project management, or Systems process improvement preferred
