Occupational Therapist

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our service users, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective interventions and support.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct occupational therapy assessments to identify service users' strengths and limitations, developing personalized intervention plans to promote occupational performance and skill development.
- Deliver individual and group interventions, utilizing graded activity to achieve therapeutic goals and promote recovery.
- Collaborate with service users, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement occupational therapy plans, ensuring seamless care coordination.
- Utilize the Model of Human Occupation (MOHO) to inform assessment and intervention, promoting occupational engagement and participation.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of occupational therapy services, ensuring alignment with Trust standards and values.
- Essential:
- Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Therapy (e.g., BSc/MSc/PG Dip)
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office and associated packages
- Desirable:
- Membership of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT)
- Experience working with people with mental health problems and/or learning disabilities
- Training in the use of the Model of Human Occupation in practice areas
