About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at AM Recruitment. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform electrical maintenance tasks on mobile water treatment equipment, including routine maintenance, regeneration operations, and fault finding.
  • Support the Plant Operations Team in carrying out electrical maintenance tasks, including working with Siemens and Allen Bradley PLC software.
  • Conduct fault finding in control systems, including PLCs, SCADA, and DCS, through preventative and reactive maintenance.
  • Provide electrical and PLC support to the Plant and Assembly Team.
  • Produce documentation and drawings for the plant PLC.
  • Maintain electrical control systems in containers, trailers, and skids, including lighting, direct on-line, instrumentation, pumps, and motors.
  • Perform PLC modifications and fault finding in the regeneration plant, for sites, and on our control systems for mobile water treatment equipment.
  • Assist in the development of plant modification and improvement work.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records.
  • Ensure compliance with EHS and Quality standards.
Requirements
  • Experience in industrial electrical works.
  • Previous experience in an industrial area, assembly, or other operational role.
  • Strong EHS and Quality awareness.
  • 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, or NVQ3 in electrical based units, or similar.
  • Drawing software skills.
  • Experience in the Water treatment industry is an advantage, but not essential.
