Job Summary:

Talent Rockit Ltd is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team in a key electrical engineering role. As a Shift Electrician, you will be responsible for servicing and maintenance of all production-related equipment, including fault diagnosis and repair, continuous improvement project/task work, ordering of spares, and reviewing/checking designs and drawings on installation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with the Mechanical Engineer to implement continuous improvement projects and tasks.
  • Order and manage spare parts inventory to ensure timely replacement of worn-out or damaged components.
  • Review and check designs and drawings for installation projects to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Requirements:

  • A recognized industrial electrical qualification (17th/18th Edition).
  • Experience working as a Shift Electrician or as a dedicated Electrical Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in the print, packaging, or associated industries is a plus.
  • Experience with maintenance programs and a buddy system with a Mechanical Engineer is ideal.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
  • Self-motivation, ability to apply initiative, and determination.

What We Offer:

  • Annualized average 42-hour working week with days and nights, 12-hour shifts.
  • Specific training where required will be provided, OEM suppliers, and via remote modem diagnostic support from the OEM.
