Job Description

As a key member of the Michael Page team, we are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Director to lead our client's manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of manufacturing engineering strategies, ensuring the effective and efficient production of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manufacturing Engineering Leadership: Provide strategic direction and guidance to the manufacturing engineering team, ensuring the development and implementation of best-in-class manufacturing processes and technologies.
  • Product Design and Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop new products, ensuring that manufacturing capabilities and technologies are aligned with design requirements.
  • Manufacturing Operations Management: Oversee the management of manufacturing operations, including quality management, facility management, supplier management, and production operations.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement, ensuring that manufacturing operations are optimized for efficiency, effectiveness, and cost savings.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing manufacturing engineering team, ensuring that team members have the necessary skills, knowledge, and resources to succeed.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline, such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or industrial engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with a proven track record of leadership and process improvement.
  • Skills: Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing processes and technologies, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
