Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Camp Manager to lead our multi-activity holiday childcare programmes in Ascot, Berkshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of staff, ensuring the welfare and safety of children on camp, and delivering high-quality care and activities.

About the Position:

  • Lead a team of staff to deliver quality care and activities.
  • Manage administrative duties, including sign-in and sign-out procedures, registration, and staff rotas.
  • Liaise with parents, host school representatives, and Head Office.
  • Act as the point of contact for parents and the host school.
  • Ensure the smooth running of camp, including leading sessions and contributing to the high standard of physical, emotional, and social care.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Qualified or working towards a qualification in childcare, teaching, or coaching.
  • Experience of working with children and management experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with parents and host school staff.
  • Good knowledge of camp activities and ability to take short-term cover of groups.
  • Good decision-making skills and ability to adapt to situations.

Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this role is £42,800 - £45,000, plus benefits including paid pre-camp training, subsidised first aid qualifications, and opportunities for progression.
