Senior MEP Cost Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior MEP Cost Manager to join our team at Turner & Townsend. As a key member of our cost management team, you will be responsible for conducting feasibility studies, writing procurement reports, and managing estimating and cost planning activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct feasibility studies and write procurement reports
- Apply Value Management techniques and involve specialist teams as needed
- Manage estimating and cost planning activities, including final cost plan presentation
- Manage the procurement process, including pre-qualification, enquiry, analysis, selection, and contract preparation
- Manage the tender process for MEP packages, including tender document, clarifications, interview, and tender recommendation report
- Ensure effective post-contract cost variances and change control processes
- Manage cost checking and valuation work
- Produce monthly post-contract cost reports and present them to the client
- Value engineering and life cycle costing
- Negotiate and agree final accounts, validate monthly payment claims, and prepare payment recommendations
- Lead interfacing with clients and other consultants at all project stages
- Lead a cost management team, ensuring delivery of all accountabilities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, or Engineering
- Minimum 10-15 years' experience in related fields
- Excellent technical knowledge and experience across full range of Cost Management duties
- Experience in commercial, corporate, and high-tech environments preferred
- Consultancy background with MEP work experience preferred
- Team player with excellent leadership and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with negotiation, influence, and persuasion abilities
