Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team within the Women's Rehabilitation Services at Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological assessment, formulation, and intervention to service users with complex mental health needs.
The post holder will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide trauma-informed care and support the development of psychological therapies within the service. The ideal candidate will have experience of working with complex mental health problems, including distressing psychosis, problems associated with complex relational and emotional needs, and severe depression, anxiety, and trauma.
Main Duties of the Job- Provide psychological assessment, formulation, and intervention to service users with complex mental health needs.
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide trauma-informed care and support the development of psychological therapies within the service.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the needs of service users.
- Provide clinical supervision to junior staff members and contribute to the development of the psychology team.
- Participate in service developments, quality improvement projects, and governance within the service as required.

Person SpecificationThe ideal candidate will have:
- Postgraduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology or a related field.
- Current registration as a Clinical Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council.
- Experience of working with complex mental health problems, including distressing psychosis, problems associated with complex relational and emotional needs, and severe depression, anxiety, and trauma.
- Experience of providing clinical supervision to junior staff members.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
