Investment Banking Enhanced Due Diligence Specialist

As a key member of the Barclays team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of banking through day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution.
To excel in this position, you should possess:
Key Responsibilities
- Support the execution of Enhanced Due Diligence reviews on high-risk customers to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and policies.
- Collaborate with teams across the bank to align and integrate EDD and exit processes, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations for change.
- Develop and implement issue resolutions relating to inefficient controls, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and policies.
- Develop reports and presentations on EDD and exit performance, communicating findings to internal senior stakeholders.
- Participate in projects and initiatives to improve EDD and exit efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
- Good knowledge and understanding of Financial Crime, Politically Exposed Persons, and Anti-Money-Laundering processes.
- Experience with portfolio and time management skills.
- Risk awareness and the ability to identify and break down potential mitigating factors through thorough analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make evaluative judgments based on factual information.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to guide and persuade team members and communicate complex/sensitive information.
