Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Delivery Manager - Technical Coordinator to join our team at Rullion Limited. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM) and overseeing construction work packs six months prior to execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure Principal Contractor compliance with CDM 2015 regulations
- Liaise with the Client and Principal Designer on construction safety matters
- Manage the Principal Contractor's CDM compliance programme
- Conduct reviews and acceptance of contractor safety-related documents
- Develop and deliver CDM-related training materials for site personnel
- Provide expert CDM guidance to the Principal Contractor and represent the team at NEC risk reduction events
- Advise delivery teams on site-specific risks
- Oversee Tier 1 contractor mobilisation and ensure compliance with safety standards
Requirements:
- Degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Chartered Membership with CIOB, ICE, or IMechE
- Technical Membership of IOSH and a Member of the Association for Project Safety
- Strong understanding of design and engineering hazard reviews and risk assessments
- Experience applying the Principles of Prevention during both pre-construction and construction phases
- Knowledge of heavy civil engineering, bulk mechanical erection, and the application of CDM to NEC & FIDIC contracts
- Ability to work in a multinational, multi-disciplinary environment managing multiple work scopes simultaneously
