We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transport Operations Manager to lead our team of Drivers and Transport Coordinators. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, reliable, and cost-effective delivery and collection services for our company and its customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Drivers and Transport Coordinators to achieve operational excellence.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with transport legislation and O license responsibilities.
- Develop and implement cost-effective strategies to improve service quality.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a fast-paced transport/logistics environment.
- Up-to-date knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- CPC qualification is desirable but not necessary.
- Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and ability to motivate and lead a team.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to build relationships with internal and external customers.
