Cover Supervisor Position

We are seeking a Cover Supervisor to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the behavior of students in the classroom and delivering pre-prepared lessons and resources left by the absent teacher.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and manage student behavior in the classroom
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons and resources
- Assist students with their work and respond to questions
- Ensure a positive and productive learning environment
- Report back to the absent teacher on lesson progress and any issues
- Adhere to school policies and procedures, including safeguarding and child protection
- Previous experience working with young people, preferably in an educational setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in different subject areas
- A proactive and positive approach to supporting students' learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, and in some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
