Requirements:

  • Previous experience in structures design within the automotive industry.
  • Proficiency in Catia V5 and 3DX, with the ability to create drawings to standards BS8888 and ASME Y14.
  • Ability to create assembly and detail drawings, as well as solid model and surface to a high standard.
  • Basic understanding of materials, heat treatments, and surface treatments.
  • Good understanding of anti-corrosion coatings and material choice.
  • Ability to manage and direct a small team of designers and contractors to deliver work packages.
