Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Head of Year to join our team at Protocol Education Ltd. The successful candidate will provide pastoral care and support to students, ensuring they achieve their full potential by resolving barriers to learning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and review student progress, attendance, and behaviour data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain regular contact with parents to encourage involvement in their child's education and address any concerns.
  • Undertake daily break/lunch duties, registration cover, and invigilation as required to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Strong knowledge of child development and behaviour management strategies to support students with challenging behaviour.
  2. Experience working with students who require additional support to achieve their academic potential.
