**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Casual Back of House Chef to join our team at The NEC Group. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer service to our guests.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Liaise with Senior Head Chef and Head Chef on menu planning and food preparation
  • Ensure compliance with all hygiene and Health & Safety Legislation and policies
  • Monitor performance of subordinates and provide timely feedback
  • Manage control of waste and maintain a clean and tidy work environment
  • Deliver menu items to the required specification and standards
  • Be competent in multiple catering deliverances, including managing and delivering a full menu range for large and complex events
  • Consider the cost implications on menus and ensure efficient use of resources
  • Implement and manage Health and Safety and Fire Safety policies, procedures, and arrangements
  • Ensure Food Safety requirements are met and liaise with the Food and Safety Support Department as necessary

**Requirements**

  • Experience in a similar position
  • Minimum City Guilds 7062 or NVQ Level 3
  • Intermediate Hygiene
  • Basic Computer Knowledge
  • Full Clean Driving License and own transport (desired but essential)
