Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) Driver to join our team at Veolia ES (UK) LIMITED. As an HGV Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of waste and materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Driving Operations: Drive a variety of HGV vehicles to collection locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery of waste and materials.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Complete daily checks of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, and report any issues to the maintenance team.
  • Logistics and Administration: Maintain accurate records of daily logs, including vehicle checks, fuel consumption, and any issues encountered during the day.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and legislation, and maintain a safe and clean working environment.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Hold a valid Class 2 (Cat C) license and have some previous driving experience. Newly qualified drivers are also welcome to apply.
  • Certifications: Possess an up-to-date CPC/Digi card.
  • Skills and Abilities: Demonstrate a can-do attitude, strong time management skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
