Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Facilities Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Plymouth. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and safety of our buildings and equipment.

The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, a strong understanding of building management systems, and experience in managing contractors and maintenance teams. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the companys buildings and equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Oversee repairs and maintenance tasks, including coordinating with contractors as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and implement measures to prevent accidents and incidents.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory levels.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of building management systems and maintenance procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to your basic salary, you will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, life assurance, and annual leave entitlement.
