As a GCSE Portuguese Examiner, you will be responsible for marking candidates' responses in accordance with the pre-defined mark scheme, while adhering to the conditions of recognition and examination procedures.

The marking period typically takes place between May and July, and the training required to mark as an examiner will take place between May and June. You will receive an agreed allocation of scripts to mark, and you will be expected to submit samples to your Team Leader at designated times.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a high level of subject knowledge in order to apply the mark scheme. You will also need to be able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

We are looking for individuals who have a degree or equivalent, and who are qualified teachers. We will accept qualifications obtained in the UK and overseas. You will also need to have a minimum of 5 months part-time teaching experience of the relevant qualification and subject, within the last 10 years. This experience must be obtained within the UK.
