Civil Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team at Black Fox Solutions. As a Civil Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, reviewing, and assessing civil engineering structures for underground construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop civil engineering structures using software packages like AutoCAD Civil 3D and INFAWorks.
  • Draft 2D, 3D, and BIM models to ensure accurate and efficient project delivery.
  • Prepare specifications, bills of quantities, and contract documents to meet project requirements.
  • Conduct site inspections and write reports to ensure compliance with project standards.
  • Coordinate project-related correspondence and data to ensure seamless communication.
  • Assist with tender documentation and cost estimates to ensure project feasibility.
Requirements:
  • Hold a Level 8 degree in civil engineering.
  • Strong analytical skills with knowledge of tunnels, deep excavation, piling, and reinforced concrete works.
  • Experience in general civil engineering design, with geotechnical knowledge preferred.
  • Previous experience in Rail sector is advantageous.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficient in report writing and computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Previous work experience in both design and coordination roles.
