Job Title: Container Shipping Regulatory Expert

Infosys Limited is seeking an experienced Consultant with deep expertise in container shipping covering export and import, regulatory compliance, billing, invoicing, and intermodal processes.

About the Role

In this role, you will work closely with our clients to understand their business requirements and deploy tailored solutions to optimize their shipping processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to different phases of the product development lifecycle.
  • Design and configure existing platforms to align with the client's requirements and industry best practices.
  • Lead consulting engagements to conceptualize and blueprint large transformations or new product capabilities.
  • Oversee the implementation and deployment of developed capabilities, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes.
  • Provide inputs or guide testing and quality assurance teams to validate the accuracy and efficiency of the implemented solution.
  • Offer training and support to end-users on how to effectively utilize the new features or capabilities.
  • Guide teams on project processes, deliverables, and contribute to proposal development and internal capability building.
  • Interact with senior client stakeholders on process harmonization, status, and issue resolutions.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in container shipping and logistics, demonstrate thought leadership, and contribute to knowledge assets.
Requirements
  • Proven experience (15+ years) in working with container shipping processes such as booking, documentation, pricing, intermodal, invoicing, and B2B integrations.
  • In-depth knowledge of business KPIs and metrics across various processes in container shipping.
  • Strong proficiency in creating product backlogs, grooming user stories, and aligning functional designs/process modifications with business stakeholders.
  • Ability to guide a team of business analysts and UX designers to build prototypes, articulate product strategies, and roadmaps.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and teams.
  • Experience in handling and driving an RFP related to Merchandising Management, with strong proficiency in estimation and pricing techniques for complex projects.
  • Experience in Agile project management methodologies.
