Key Responsibilities- Sourcing and Procurement: Identify, evaluate, and develop relationships with fruit and vegetable suppliers, including local farms, wholesalers, and international vendors.
- Negotiation and Contract Management: Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to secure competitive rates while maintaining high quality standards.
- Quality Control: Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure that all fruits and vegetables meet Nutriseed's stringent juicing quality standards, including freshness, nutritional value, and safety.
- Inventory and Supply Chain Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure a continuous supply of fruits and vegetables, minimizing waste and spoilage.
- Market and Trend Analysis: Stay updated on market trends, seasonal availability, and price fluctuations in the fruit and vegetable industry.
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience as a buyer in the fruit, vegetable, or fresh produce sector, ideally with experience in juicing or food manufacturing.
- Proven experience in building relationships with suppliers and negotiating contracts.
- Familiarity with inventory management, supply chain logistics, and quality control processes.
- Ability to analyze market trends and make data-driven purchasing decisions.
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Agriculture, Business, or a related field is preferred but not required.
