Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert guidance to senior leadership on best practices and drive a safety culture across the organization.
- Develop and deliver engaging health and safety training and workshops for colleagues at all levels.
- Lead environmental sustainability initiatives and provide ideas on how the business can improve.
- Influence a workforce of 500 colleagues to value the importance of safety in the workplace and hold them accountable for initiatives.
- Motivate, mentor, and coach a small team of direct reports, supporting them in their respective roles.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in safety, health, and environmental management, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to influence and drive change across all levels of the organization.
- NEBOSH National General Certificate or equivalent in Occupational Health and Safety.
- Practical, calm, and thorough with great attention to detail.
- Comfortable being visible in the business.
