Job Title: Aftersales Applications Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aftersales Applications Engineer to join our team at fish4.co - Jobboard. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for undertaking a variety of engineering tasks, including the review and design of steam, thermal fluid, thermal oxidiser, and process air heating systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop technically and commercially attractive quotations for customers, utilizing in-house software to select key components and equipment.
  • Conduct system flow and pipe work pressure drop calculations to ensure accurate application of our range of Steam Generators, Fire Tube Steam Boilers, high temperature Thermal Fluid Heaters, Process Air Heaters, and Gaseous Effluent Thermal Oxidisers.
  • Complete project engineering checks and prepare commissioning specifications, providing pre and post-sales applications support to our External Sales and Internal Engineering functions.
  • Assist with the role of Contracts Engineer as required, to balance departmental demands and gain familiarity with Contracts Department procedures and requirements.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of HNC or equivalent in Chemical, Mechanical, or Process Engineering discipline, with experience in a compatible industry or manufacturer of related equipment.
  • Candidates qualified to Graduate/HNC level with less experience but clear potential will also be considered.
