Job Summary:

Pioneer Selection is seeking a highly skilled Crane and Lifting Equipment Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our heavy machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and maintain crane and lifting equipment to ensure compliance with LOLER and PUWER regulations
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor equipment condition and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address equipment-related issues
  • Provide training and guidance to colleagues on equipment operation and maintenance procedures

Requirements:

  • Hold an HNC (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Aeronautical, Marine, or Automotive Engineering
  • Proven experience in maintaining, servicing, and repairing crane and lifting equipment
  • Knowledge of LOLER and PUWER regulations
  • Ability to work at height and in confined spaces
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
