Job Role:

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our logistics team in the maintenance of wheelchairs for our NHS wheelchair users within the surrounding areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery, collection, installation and repairing of wheelchairs in patient's homes and other various locations across the local region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver, collect, install and repair wheelchairs in patient's homes and other locations.
  • Ensure the correct functionality and safe installation of items, repair and replace any damaged or faulty stock items.
  • Conduct vehicle maintenance, including safety checks.
  • Participate in the on-call rota with an enhanced allowance during this period.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must hold a valid manual driving license with no more than 6 valid points due to insurance purposes.

This position is working in a regulated environment and will therefore be subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure check.
