Job Summary:We are looking for a skilled and compassionate RMN to provide high-quality care to patients with various mental health conditions. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mental health nursing and excellent communication skills.
Main Responsibilities:- Patient Care: Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, including assessments, care planning, and medication administration.
- Monitoring and Documentation: Monitor patients' mental status and health, reporting significant changes to the team, and maintain accurate patient records.
- Therapeutic Engagement: Use therapeutic techniques to engage patients and support their recovery, and facilitate group therapy sessions and patient education programs.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Education and Advocacy: Educate patients and families about mental health conditions and treatment options, and advocate for patient rights and promote a respectful, supportive care environment.
- Compliance and Safety: Follow hospital policies, safety guidelines, and legal standards in nursing practice, and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance care delivery.
- Degree or equivalent in Mental Health Nursing
- Proven experience as a Registered Mental Health Nurse
- Valid NMC Registration
