The Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group is seeking a skilled Clinical Vascular Assistant to join our team. As a Clinical Vascular Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the Vascular Ultrasound department in providing high-quality patient care.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist in radiology ultrasound scans and coordinate daily workflow to ensure efficient department operations.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and staff to provide excellent patient care and maintain a positive working environment.
  • Undertake tasks while maintaining patients' dignity and adhere to strict confidentiality protocols.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and support.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Basic Numeracy & Literacy Skills
  • Good IT Skills
  • Ability to communicate with patients and staff
  • Able to undertake tasks while maintaining patients' dignity
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to assist in radiology ultrasound scans
  • Ability to coordinate daily workflow to Vascular Ultrasound department
