About the Role

Nexgen Group is seeking a seasoned Contract Manager to oversee Grounds operations for one of our prominent Social Housing clients in London and the Home Counties.

As a natural leader, you will guide a delivery team to implement our company's strategic vision, prioritizing profitability and contract retention. Your expertise will be instrumental in motivating, managing, and training staff to consistently exceed client expectations while fostering strong relationships across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cultivate and maintain robust client relationships, ensuring service delivery aligns with contract specifications and maximizing opportunities for contract renewal.
  • Develop and lead a high-performing operational team, guaranteeing compliance with all key performance indicators (KPIs). Regularly review contract activities, driving innovation and best practices.
  • Manage the procurement and upkeep of approved equipment and machinery, ensuring all electrical and mechanical testing is current.
  • Effectively manage client communication and promptly address any issues, implementing preventative and remedial actions as needed.
  • Achieve full contract Profit & Loss (P&L) targets while operating within budgetary constraints. Develop a process to identify and capitalize on all potential growth opportunities.
  • Actively participate in client review meetings to present and provide feedback on contract performance.
  • Play a key role in recruiting and onboarding new team members, collaborating with departments such as Senior Management, Human Resources, Recruitment, Fleet, and Procurement.
  • Support the bid team by contributing to responses for Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and attend client presentations when required.
  • Assist the Operations Director by providing reports, cost analyses, proposals, and support for new client mobilizations.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all JAES, Quality, Safety, Health & Environment (QSHE), Risk Management, and Business Continuity protocols.
