Becoming a Bereavement Group Facilitator

We are seeking a Bereavement Group Facilitator to join our team at Vast Services: Investing in communities. As a Bereavement Group Facilitator, you will be working closely with our clients, providing a supportive environment and signposting them to other groups and professional organizations when necessary. This role requires a caring and empathetic individual who can engage well with people.

You will be working in a dynamic team and will receive regular training and support to help you succeed in this role. The successful candidate will have a 12-month commitment (ideally) and be required to undergo a DBS check which will be submitted by ourselves. You will also be reimbursed with vehicle travel expenses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide a warm welcome and supportive environment for individuals attending the Bereavement Support Groups
  • To engage with individuals, listen to their concerns and provide guidance and support when needed
  • To maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress
  • To work collaboratively with other team members to achieve shared goals and objectives

Estimated salary: £15,000 - £18,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package to attract and retain the best talent in the industry.
