Compassionate Care Lead for Complex Autism and Learning Disabilities

We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker Team Leader to join our team at Komplex Group Ltd.
Job SummaryThis role involves providing bespoke support and future care to an individual with complex autism and learning disabilities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in working with individuals with similar needs and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
The client is a young adult in his early 20s who requires support with daily living activities, emotional support, and healthcare monitoring. We are looking for a compassionate and assertive individual who can make quick decisions when necessary and provide a high-quality care and support service.
About the Role- Individual Support: Provide personalised support to the client, helping them to develop essential life skills and achieve their personal goals
- Emotional Support: Offer emotional support and companionship, helping the client feel valued and understood
- Personal Care: Assist with personal hygiene, meal preparation, and other daily living activities
- Healthcare Monitoring: Monitor the client's health condition, administer medication, and ensure that any medical appointments are attended
- Community Engagement: Support the client in accessing community facilities and participating in social activities
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in the client's condition
- Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the learning disabilities sector
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients
- Empathy: A caring and supportive attitude, with patience and sensitivity to the needs of people with different health issues
- Flexibility: Ability to adapt to the varying needs of a client and handle different situations effectively
