We are seeking a motivated and experienced Perioperative Practitioner to join our high-performing Theatre Team at Spire Clare Park Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of surgical specialties, including Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Cosmetics, Urology, Dermatology, and ENT.

About the Role

As a Perioperative Practitioner, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. This will involve assessing patient health and well-being, promoting best practice, and contributing to quality improvements. You will also be expected to develop a working environment and culture that actively improves health, safety, and security, and infection control.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse/Operating Department Practitioner
  • Experience of scrubbing for major orthopaedics cases
  • Experience of working in teams and with minimum supervision
  • Competence across a range of skills, supported by professional and clinical knowledge acquired through state registration/practitioner qualification
