At Central Recruitment Services Ltd, we are currently recruiting for nine permanent Outreach Support Workers to work across the Essex area. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of individuals with varying support needs.

About the Role:
  • As an Outreach Support Worker, you will provide information, support and training to customers with low, medium and high support needs to increase their independent living skills.
  • You will also provide pre-tenancy guidance and ongoing support to customers on all tenancy matters, including assistance to furnish and move into properties.

We are looking for experienced professionals who can confidently triage to the right level of support, complete risk & needs assessments and crisis support as required. You will be able to participate at drop-ins across the service, providing support, advice or guidance as needed.

  • A competitive salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Requirements:
  • Experience of providing support to customers with mental health needs, preferably in a floating support/outreach setting.
  • Understanding of housing support needs and benefits of a flexible, outcome-focused and personalized support service.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of health and safety issues, safeguarding vulnerable adults and children local policies, protocols and good practice.
  • Full UK licence and access to own car, essential for this role.
  • A fully enhanced DBS, either registered on the DBS update service or issued within the last 12 months.
