Job Description

We are looking for a Risk Management Professional to join our team at Travel Trade Recruitment. Based in London, this role offers a unique opportunity to work with a well-established travel company that liaises with insurance brokers and underwriters.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and expanding the portfolio of producers within the travel industry, providing advice and support on determining the structuring of travel protection policies, as well as administering policies on behalf of the underwriters.

This role offers a competitive salary range of £60,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.

About You

  • You have a strong understanding of the travel industry and its financial protection needs.
  • You possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with producers, underwriters, and other industry specialists.
  • You have experience in underwriting or accountancy, with knowledge of financial protection regulations and requirements.
  • You are able to manage multiple accounts independently and work under pressure in peak bond renewal periods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the point of contact for producers, providing expert advice and tailored bonding solutions.
  • Negotiate with underwriters to secure competitive terms.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with producers, underwriters, and other travel industry specialists.
  • Manage the renewal process for travel bonds, ensuring timely and accurate submissions to underwriters and regulatory bodies.
  • Prepare and submit underwriting reports.
  • Expand the wholesale distribution network by developing relationships with existing and new brokers and producers in the travel industry.
  • Achieve individual and team sales targets, contributing to the overall success of the business.
