About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Domestic Cleaning Operative to join our team at OCS UK & Ireland. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our healthcare environments.

Main Responsibilities
  • Carry out all cleaning duties as required by your line manager and in accordance with the work schedule for your area.
  • Ensure that all cleaning tasks are carried out in accordance with NHS cleaning standards or equivalent.
  • Dust, vacuum, and wash down all areas, including offices, toilets, bathrooms, shower rooms, and basins.
  • Replenish soaps, hand towels, and toilet paper as needed.
  • Empty and clean waste bins.
  • Clean clinical areas, therapy rooms, corridors, and bedrooms (where applicable).
  • Develop a good knowledge of the unit you are working in to enable efficient working practices.
  • Understand the unit's working pattern to avoid conflicts.
  • Uphold the company's core values at all times.
Requirements
  • Cleaning experience within a healthcare environment is desired but not essential, as full training will be provided.
  • The ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • High standards of personal hygiene and appearance are expected at all times.
