About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Ealing, West London NHS Trust. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing psychological assessments and treatment to adults with a wide range of mental health problems, including Personality Difficulties, Complex Trauma, Psychosis, and other mood disorders.

You will work closely with our multidisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based treatments, including EMDR, DBT, and CBT for psychosis. We offer training in these therapies, delivered by expert external providers, and supported with specialist supervision.

This is a leadership post within our MINT psychology team, covering three MINT teams in Ealing. You will have oversight of the psychology team, which includes clinical and counselling psychologists, CBT therapists, and clinical associate psychologists, as well as students and trainees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide psychological assessments and treatment to adults with mental health problems
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based treatments
  • Lead the psychology team, providing clinical supervision and line management to less senior members
  • Develop close working relationships with other local psychologists in related services
  • Contribute to the development of the evolving North West London Integrated Care System and the Integrated Care Board
Requirements
  • Post-graduate doctorate in clinical or counselling psychology (or its equivalent for those trained prior to 1996 or those in lateral transfer) as accredited by the BPS
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council
  • Training in clinical supervision for doctoral, and equivalent, trainees
  • Experience of teaching, training, and/or supervision
  • Experience of facilitating/co-facilitating psychological therapy groups
  • Experience of applying clinical psychology in different cultural contexts
