Protocol Education Ltd seeks a Behaviour Support Worker to join our team at a mainstream secondary school in Leeds, providing vital support to students experiencing SEMH challenges.
Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with Teachers and Senior Leadership to develop and implement behaviour management plans.
- Provide one-to-one support to students, promoting their integration into mainstream classes and addressing their SEMH needs.
- Deescalate challenging situations using behaviour management techniques and foster a positive, inclusive environment.
- Experience working with young people, particularly within an education setting.
- Understanding of behaviour management techniques and ability to deescalate challenging situations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with staff and students.
- Temporary to permanent contract with competitive salary, estimated at £25,000-£32,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
- Up to 13 weeks / 65 days holiday per annum, offering flexibility and work-life balance.
