Job Title: Occupational Health Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Practitioner to join our client in Worksop. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and supporting the health and wellbeing of our employees.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Review pre-employment questionnaires and conduct assessments to ensure fitness for work
  • Liaise with Health and Safety team, Managers, and HR to ensure reasonable adjustments are in place
  • Assess referrals to the OH service and provide advice and guidance to maintain a physically and mentally fit workforce
  • Work with HR Officers to support staff returning to work following a period of absence
  • Organise and conduct health surveillance assessments in conjunction with Health and Safety requirements
  • Identify health trends within the organisation and determine preventative initiatives
  • Lead and/or participate in groups that support the promotion of Health and Wellbeing of staff
  • Work with the Health and Safety Team to improve the provision of First Aid
  • Organise and promote health initiatives and events
Requirements:
  • Experience in an Occupational Health position outside of a hospital environment
  • Recognised Occupational Health qualification
  • Registered Nursing qualification
  • Knowledge of current Occupational Health best practice
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility and team working
