About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Brook Street Social Care NMR. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities and physical disabilities in supported living settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide emotional and physical support to individuals to enable them to live their lives to the fullest
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care and housekeeping
  • Encourage individuals to engage in their local community and participate in activities
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies to provide a holistic support service
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual support plans
Requirements
  • 6 months UK based care experience in the last year OR a year in the last 5 years
  • Right to work in the UK (we do not offer sponsorship)
  • Willing to undergo DBS and reference checks
  • Willing to undertake personal care
  • Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
