About the Role

South West London and St George's Mental Health NHS Trust is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced General Adult Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team in Central Wandsworth.

This is a substantive role based at Springfield Hospital, London SW17, with the opportunity to develop and deliver additional expertise and special interests in line with our community services or Trust needs.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Providing high-quality clinical leadership and psychiatric care to patients under the care of the team.
  2. Leading on the training of core and higher psychiatry trainees in the team.
  3. Contributing to the teaching of St George's University of London Medical Students.
  4. Working closely with a Team manager, an advanced clinical practitioner and a dedicated Clinical Service Manager for the Borough.
  5. Supervisory support is available from the Associate Clinical Director for Wandsworth as needed.
