Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Store Performance: Maximize sales opportunities and support your team in meeting and exceeding targets through focused KPI delivery.
  • Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Provide market-leading customer service to drive business growth through customer loyalty and repeat purchases.
  • Wine Knowledge and Sales: Demonstrate and share your passion for wine with customers through in-depth knowledge of our range, and actively contact them with updates on products and tastings.
  • Sell the Story, Not the Discount: Share your knowledge of our products with customers and demonstrate your passion for wine.
  • WSET Qualification and Confidence: Take ownership of your wine knowledge and continuously learn about our products to support your WSET qualification and confidence in selling.
  • Store Maintenance and Operations: Take accountability and pride in the physical appearance and maintenance of your store, both internally and externally.
  • Operational Tasks: Involvement in all operational tasks required for the day-to-day running of the store, including delivering wine to customers, merchandising stock deliveries, and calling valued customers to drive sales opportunities.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to make improvements that will optimize the operational running of the store, and feed ideas back to your wider team for implementation.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure you remain fully compliant, safe, and legal by following internal policies, processes, and completing mandatory training.
  • Team Player: Be an example of Majestic's Ways of Working and a source of support for more junior team members, feeding back to your Store Manager as appropriate.
  • Key Holder: As a key holder, you will understand the opening and closing compliance and be confident to operate the store without your management team.
