Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal DSP Software Engineer to join our team at European Tech Recruit. As a key member of our semiconductor company, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating DSP audio filters and algorithms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-quality DSP audio filters and algorithms.
  • Integrate and verify DSP embedded solutions.
  • Deliver high-quality design and code within agreed timescales.
  • Develop and deliver high-quality tests within agreed timescales.
  • Ensure customer acceptance of Renesas solutions with proven and measurable compliance to specifications.
  • Drive, regulate, and prioritize activities to ensure timescales and goals are met.
  • Maintain high-quality technical documentation.
  • Reduce code maintenance and increase code reuse.

Requirements:

  • Excellent knowledge of DSP, MCU, IC, and audio codec architectures.
  • Excellent knowledge of embedded architectures and real-time embedded software.
  • Fluent in real-time embedded C/C++ programming with in-depth knowledge of DSP algorithm development.
  • Good debugging skills.
  • Good competency in Python and/or MATLAB.
  • Report bugs using issue-tracking tools such as JIRA.

Desirable Experience:

  • Good knowledge and experience in audio, digital filtering, and portable audio applications such as headphones and wireless earbuds.
  • Good experience in optimizing DSP solutions for low footprint, low latency, and low power applications.
  • Previous team leading or technical leading experience.
  • Familiarity with CI tools such as Jenkins.
  • Experience using SystemC.
